Say Your Main Point First
Many professionals make the same mistake.
They start with background information instead of the main message.
If you’re speaking English at work, say the most important point first.
For example:
Instead of saying:
“I’ve been reviewing the project for the past few weeks and talking to several departments…”
Say:
“I recommend moving forward with Option B.”
Then explain why.
Lead with your conclusion.
Your listener will thank you for it.
